Westview has gone a perfect 4-0 against Ripley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Chargers will welcome the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Westview has five straight victories, Ripley has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Westview proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 70) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lausanne Collegiate, sneaking past 37-34.

Meanwhile, Ripley fell victim to Covington and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Chargers 58-0. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 307th, while the Chargers are ranked 71st).

Westview's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Ripley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Westview against Ripley in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-0 victory. Do the Chargers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
