Softball Recap: Salisbury Starts Season with Win at Home

Salisbury took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They put the hurt on the Trinity Bulldogs with a sharp 22-7 victory. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 15-0 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2017.

Allison Peeler was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Addisyn Myers, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

Salisbury has already played their next game, an 18-3 victory against Statesville on the 26th. As for Trinity, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-7 win against Williams on the 26th.
