Volleyball Recap: Costa Mesa Takes a Loss

Costa Mesa came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Valencia Tigers. The Mustangs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Costa Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Valencia, their victory bumped their record up to 20-6.

Costa Mesa will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Segerstrom at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Valencia, they will challenge Troy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
