Basketball Recap: Mcmichael's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, McMichael brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They claimed a resounding 62-30 victory over the Walkertown Wolfpack. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Phoenix as it put an end to their 11-game losing streak dating back to last season.

McMichael's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Walkertown, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McMichael will venture away from home to take on North Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Walkertown, they will head out to square off against T.W. Andrews at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
