Basketball Recap: Wolfe City Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Noah Adams and Daniel Garcia

Wolfe City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 47-21 to the Honey Grove Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1580th, while the Warriors are ranked 662nd).

Despite the defeat, Wolfe City had strong showings from Daniel Garcia, who posted nine points, and Noah Adams, who had two points in addition to ten boards and three blocks. Adams is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 17 games he's played.

Wolfe City's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Honey Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Wolfe City will square off against Sam Rayburn at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Honey Grove, they will face off against Whitewright at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
