Basketball Game Preview: West Albany Bulldogs vs. Corvallis Spartans

The West Albany Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Corvallis Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in West Albany's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 matches.

Last Tuesday, West Albany didn't have too much trouble with South Albany as they won 65-51.

Meanwhile, Corvallis didn't have quite enough to beat Silverton on Tuesday and fell 57-54. The Spartans have struggled against the Foxes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

West Albany has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points over those games. As for Corvallis, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

West Albany didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Corvallis in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 75-70 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Albany since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
