Baseball Game Preview: Stringer Red Devils vs. Clarkdale Bulldogs

The Stringer Red Devils will challenge the Clarkdale Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Friday just wasn't the day for Stringer's offense. They lost 12-0 to Seminary on Friday. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Clarkdale entered their tilt with West Lauderdale on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Knights.

The team relied heavily on Jaxson McRee, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI. Aiden McDill also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Stringer's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Clarkdale, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Stringer couldn't quite get it done against Clarkdale in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 as they fell 4-0. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
