Softball Game Preview: Charleston Tigers vs. Dardanelle Sand Lizards

The Charleston Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Dardanelle Sand Lizards at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Charleston didn't have quite enough to beat Ozark and fell 6-5.

Meanwhile, Dardanelle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 16-11 to Booneville.

Dardanelle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Charleston, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything went Charleston's way against Dardanelle when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Charleston made off with a 10-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Charleston since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
