Cherokee County strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Madison County Tigers. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Cherokee County was led to victory by Ellisan Givens and Jesslyn Hincy. Givens had six digs and three aces, while Hincy had seven digs. What's more, Givens posted four assists, the most she's had over her last six games.

Cherokee County's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Madison County, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cherokee County will square off against Hokes Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The match will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Madison County, they will challenge Madison Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
