Basketball Recap: Classen SAS Comets vs. Star-Spencer Bobcats

The Classen SAS Comets had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They really took it to Star-Spencer for the full four quarters, racking up a 77-39 win at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-16.

Leading Classen SAS to victory were Kamyiah Morgan and Skylar Durley. Morgan scored 17 points, while Durley scored 22 points along with two steals. Durley is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for six games straight. Paige Williams was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

Classen SAS is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Star-Spencer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Classen SAS will take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
