Volleyball Recap: Berwick Academy Comes Up Short

Berwick Academy lost against Winsor back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-13.

Saige Jurek paced Berwick Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Jurek got some help from Megan Libby and her two assists. Jurek was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Berwick Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Winsor, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berwick Academy will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Cushing Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Winsor, they will face off against Beaver Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
