Cardinal Newman entered their tilt with Archbishop Carroll on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.

Lyla Buser paced Cardinal Newman's offense, picking up seven kills. Buser got some help from Dayana Acevedo and her 18 assists. Acevedo also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ava Castro, racking up two apiece.
