Basketball Recap: Dracut Comes Up Short

Dracut lost against Tewksbury Memorial last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dracut Middies fell 63-55 to the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen. While losing is never fun, the Middies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Redmen are ranked 38th).

Dracut's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Tewksbury Memorial, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Tewksbury Memorial beat Dracut by a score of 63-55 on Friday.
