After a string of five wins, Segerstrom's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Costa Mesa Mustangs. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Segerstrom saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Nu?ez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Segerstrom's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Costa Mesa, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

Looking ahead, Segerstrom will head out to take on Tustin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Costa Mesa, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-1 victory against Covina on the 5th.
