Volleyball Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

Wilson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hazel Green Trojans.

Olivia Poarch paced Wilson's offense, picking up seven kills. Poarch got some help from Olivia Watkins and her 13 assists.

Hazel Green was led to victory by Camryn Collier and Sophia Hyatt. Collier had 12 digs and four assists, while Hyatt had six digs and one assist.

Wilson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Hazel Green, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Wilson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Athens Bible on the 2nd. As for Hazel Green, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Pelham on the 30th.
