Jordan-Matthews found their leader in underclassman Jada Scott, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklin Quee, who scored seven points.
Cummings bumped their record down to 0-11 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.9 points per game. As for Jordan-Matthews, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8.
Cummings will take on Bartlett Yancey at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Bartlett Yancey focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday. As for Jordan-Matthews, they will head out on the road to face off against Graham at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
