Atlantic Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the Oakcrest Falcons by a score of 9-5. The win was just business as usual For Atlantic Christian, who after one games remain undefeated this season.
Evangelina Kim was incredible, going 3-for-4 with a home run, five RBI, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Sutton, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Atlantic Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on King's Christian at 4:00 p.m. on April 9th. As for Oakcrest, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Absegami at 4:00 p.m. on April 5th.
