Volleyball Recap: Somerset Academy Extends Winning Streak to Two

Somerset Academy won the last time they faced North Broward Prep, and Daniel Bayona did his part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Bayona, who had eight digs and three aces. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times he's played.

Somerset Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 17-25, 25-20.

The victory made it two in a row for Somerset Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-5. As for North Broward Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Somerset Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against American Heritage on the 2nd. North Broward Prep has also already played their next contest (against Avant Garde Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
