Recap: Dobbs Ferry Eagles vs. Woodlands Falcons
After flying high against The Leffell School Lions back in December of 2023, the Dobbs Ferry Eagles came back down to earth. Dobbs Ferry took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodlands on Monday.
Ashari Emuze was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with six rebounds and four steals for Woodlands. The matchup was Emuze's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayana Holder, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Dobbs Ferry's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Woodlands, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Dobbs Ferry will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Irvington at 4:30 p.m. As for Woodlands, they will head out on the road to face off against Barack Obama School for Social Justice at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
