Softball Recap: San Miguel Takes a Loss

San Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 25-0 to the Phoenix Christian Cougars.

San Miguel's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Phoenix Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Miguel will host ALA - Anthem South at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. ALA - Anthem South has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.42 runs per game on average), something San Miguel will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Phoenix Christian, they will be playing at home against Fountain Hills at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Phoenix Christian's pitchers better be ready for this one: Fountain Hills has averaged an impressive 10.8 runs per game this season.
