Volleyball Recap: North Bergen Comes Up Short

North Bergen was the 2-0 winner over Kearny when they last played one another on April 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The Bruins fell just short of the Kardinals by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

North Bergen's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for Kearny, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, North Bergen will host Elizabeth at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Minutemen will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Bruins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kearny, they will venture away from home to square off against Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
