Recap: Vidor Pirates vs. Silsbee Tigers        
        
		
            
 The Vidor Pirates lost against the Silsbee Tigers on January 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. Vidor took a serious blow against Silsbee, falling  100-54. Vidor has struggled against Silsbee recently, as their  match on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
 Silsbee's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Dre'lon Miller led the charge by  dropping  a double-double on 26 points and ten  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Miller has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jared Harris, who  almost  dropped  a triple-double on 16 points, ten  rebounds, and nine  assists.
 Vidor's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Silsbee, the  win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-9.
 Vidor will be playing in front of their home fans against Little Cypress-Mauriceville at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Little Cypress-Mauriceville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 174 points over their last three matchups. As for Silsbee, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Lumberton at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lumberton will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 925th, while Silsbee is ranked 132nd).
