Hamilton has no trouble against Cooperstown

The Hamilton Emerald Knights had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Cooperstown on Thursday as Hamilton made off with a 63-41 victory.

Cooperstown's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charlie Lambert, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Lambert scored a full 29.3% of Cooperstown's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Cooper Bradley, who scored 1 points along with 20 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Cooperstown, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Poland the next time they take the court. Cooperstown will host Poland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Hamilton will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th.
