Basketball Recap: Livingston Comes Up Short

Livingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 45-32 to the Hargrave Falcons. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-33 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Livingston still got an impressive performance from Regan Lewis, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 rebounds.

Livingston's defeat dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Hargrave, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-17.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hardin-Jefferson the next time they take the court. Hargrave will host Hardin-Jefferson at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while Livingston will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
