Softball Recap: Owyhee Comes Up Short

Owyhee fell victim to Pyramid Lake and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Lakers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Saturday.

Owyhee's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Pyramid Lake, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6.

Owyhee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pyramid Lake, they will square off against Virginia City at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Muckers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.13 runs per game on average), something the Lakers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
