After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carson, Paramount was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Venice Gondoliers with a sharp 38-14 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won three matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Tyler Goodman, who rushed for 164 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 84 yards. Another back making a difference was Dae'Jon Massey, who rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.

He was just one part of a punishing run game: Paramount was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 357 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
