Volleyball Recap: Kingston Comes Up Short

Kingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bismarck Indians, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Kingston was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Bismarck's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-9, 25-10.

Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Bismarck, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Kingston will head out to take on West County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bismarck, they will venture away from home to challenge Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
