Basketball Recap: Los Gatos Wildcats vs. Los Altos Eagles
The Los Gatos Wildcats pushed their score all the way to 60 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Los Altos 65-60. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Los Gatos came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Eagles are ranked 400th).
Despite the loss, Los Gatos still got an impressive performance from Nolan G. koch, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. G. koch hasn't dropped below 17 points for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Scotty Brennan, who scored eight points along with two blocks.
Los Gatos' defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Los Altos, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.
Los Gatos will head out on the road to take on the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Los Altos, they will be playing at home against the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
