Soccer Recap: Atlantic Christian's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Atlantic Christian proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by four) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Calvary Academy Warrior 1-0. While Atlantic Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-11-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Maddox Nixon, who's now up to two this season.

The victory (which was Atlantic Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three games. As for Calvary Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Atlantic Christian didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Cedar Creek on the 13th. As for Calvary Academy, they will challenge Keyport at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
