Softball Recap: Crestline's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak at Home

Crestline won the last time they faced Central Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Comets. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly ten runs.

Kenidy Bedson was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. LaVanna Sanders was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-4.

Crestline's victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Central Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crestline will face off against Mt. Gilead at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Central Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Open Door Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Comets will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
