Basketball Recap: McCamey Takes a Loss

After flying high against Midessa last Tuesday, McCamey came back down to earth. The McCamey Badgers fell just short of the Wink Wildcats by a score of 43-41 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Badgers have suffered since February 9, 2024.

McCamey has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Wink, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-9.

McCamey will challenge Van Horn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Van Horn has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Wink, they will take on Fort Hancock at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
