Basketball Game Preview: South Carroll Cavaliers vs. Century Knights

South Carroll and Century are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The South Carroll Cavaliers will welcome the Century Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, South Carroll beat Boonsboro 43-31.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Carroll to victory, but perhaps none more so than Harley McKee, who posted eight points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Caden Curtin, who had six points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Century made easy work of Owings Mills on Monday and carried off a 60-35 victory.

South Carroll now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Century, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-0.

South Carroll beat Century 55-45 in their previous meeting back in February. Will South Carroll repeat their success, or does Century have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
