Softball Recap: Amityville Memorial Takes a Loss

Amityville Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-0 to East Hampton, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against East Hampton this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-0 loss on Monday.

Amityville Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for East Hampton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

Amityville Memorial has already played their next contest (against Hauppauge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for East Hampton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-5 win against Westhampton Beach on the 30th.
