Basketball Game Preview: Fort Towson Tigers vs. Wright City Lumberjax

Fort Towson hasn't had much luck against Wright City recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Fort Towson Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wright City Lumberjax at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fort Towson is coming into the game on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight wins. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Boswell 37-35.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wright City). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Haworth 73-32. The win was nothing new for the Lumberjax as they're now sitting on three straight.

Fort Towson better keep an eye on Mia Reich. She was instrumental in Wright City's win, going 15 of 18 en route to 35 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. The dominant performance also gave Reich a new career-high in blocks (three). Kaelynn Wesley was another key player, going 5 for 6 on her way to 11 points.

Wright City's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Fort Towson, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.
