Volleyball Recap: Peyton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Peyton lost against Byers back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs.

While Peyton ultimately came up short, they really made Byers work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 26-24, 16-25, 25-20.

Byers found their leader in freshman Zoie Murphy, who had 14 digs and 13 assists. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Murphy.

Peyton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Byers, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 8-11 record.

Peyton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Swink on the 22nd. As for Byers, they will face off against Limon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Badgers at the right time seeing as the Badgers are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
