Football Recap: Escambia Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Escambia extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They took a hard 28-14 fall against the Bay Tornadoes. The Gators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tornadoes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

As for Bay, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.8 points on average this season.

Leading Bay to victory were De'Jay Davenport and MJ Wilkkerson. Davenport picked up 70 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Wilkkerson rushed for 86 yards on only ten carries.

Escambia has already played their next game, a 46-15 loss against Mosley on the 19th. As for Bay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 41-35 defeat against Madison County on the 19th.
