Football Recap: Paul W. Bryant Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Paul W. Bryant extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Friday, dropping them down to 0-7. They came up short against the Northridge Jaguars, falling 35-10. While losing is never fun, the Stampede can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Jaguars are ranked 89th).

As for Northridge, the victory got them back to even at 4-4. Considering they have won four matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Mayson Elam had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 101 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in one score on the ground. He has become a key player for Northridge: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise. Adam Hall was in the mix as well, providing the Jaguars with two TDs.

Coming up, Paul W. Bryant will face off against McAdory at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northridge, they will challenge Bessemer City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so the Jaguars' offense will have their work cut out for them.
