Soccer Game Preview: Garden City vs. Dodge City

The Garden City Buffaloes will head out to challenge the Dodge City Demons on Tuesday. Garden City will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Dodge City ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Liberal 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Dodge City were the better team in the second half.

Dodge City pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matches. As for Garden City, their record is now 5-3-1.

Garden City beat Dodge City by a goal when the teams last played last Thursday, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buffaloes since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
