Soccer Game Preview: Arvin vs. North

The Arvin Bears will head out on the road to square off against the North Stars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arvin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.

Arvin is headed into Tuesday's contest following a draw, the team's first since December 13. They and Clovis finished up their matchup with a 3-3 draw on Saturday.

Emmanuel Guzman and Diego Hernandez scored all three of Arvin's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North). They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Immanuel Christian two weeks ago. The victory was a breath of fresh air for North as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Arvin's draw gives them a new season record of 7-2-3. As for North, their win bumped their record up to 2-9-1.

Arvin came out on top in a nail-biter against North when the teams last played back in February of 2025, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Stars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
