Football Recap: Fall River Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Saturday just wasn't the day for Fall River's offense. They had to suffer through a 62-0 loss at the hands of the Ferndale Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 746th, while the Wildcats are ranked 350th).

Raul Iniguez threw for 66 yards on six of 15 attempts. James Taylor was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards. On the ground, Abraham Estes rushed for 72 yards.

Tanner Pidgeon had an outrageously good game for Ferndale as he rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 65 yards and one TD while completing 80% of his passes.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fall River fell to 2-1. As for Ferndale, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Fall River has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Yreka on the 19th. As for Ferndale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 49-0 win against Fortuna on the 19th.
