Poth dropped down to 10-7 on Tuesday, ending the team's six-game streak of wins. They lost 3-0 to the Navarro Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

As for Navarro, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Leading Navarro to victory were Peyton Schimonsky and Makenna Fox. Schimonsky had 11 digs, while Fox had nine digs. That's the most digs Schimonsky has posted over her last seven contests. Piper Fox also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Poth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Tivy on the 29th. As for Navarro, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Incarnate Word Academy on the 28th.
