Basketball Recap: Hiawatha Collegiate Takes a Loss

Hiawatha Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 72-14 defeat at the hands of Hope Academy. If Hiawatha Collegiate was looking for revenge after losing 57-19 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hiawatha Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Hope Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-13.

Coming up, Hiawatha Collegiate will venture away from home to take on North Lakes Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hope Academy, they will welcome Community of Peace Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
