Cienega has gone a perfect 3-0 against Flowing Wells recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Bobcats will challenge the Caballeros at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Cienega's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five matchups.

Cienega's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Catalina Foothills with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Sophia Butt was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in February. Sicily Waller also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Butt wasn't the only one making solid contact: Cienega kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in five consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Flowing Wells lost 15-2 to Cienega on Monday. The Caballeros have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Flowing Wells saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yesenia Solano, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Cienega's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Flowing Wells, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Cienega took their victory against Flowing Wells when the teams last played on Monday by a conclusive 15-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
