Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jordan). They strolled past the ALA - West Foothills Guardians with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 68-50. Given the Beetdiggers' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 94th in Utah, while the Guardians are ranked 259th in Arizona), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jordan's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for ALA - West Foothills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tooele at 5:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. ALA - West Foothills will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Highland Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
