Baseball Recap: West End Takes a Loss

West End lost against Appalachian back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The West End Patriots took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Appalachian Eagles.

West End's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Appalachian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Coincidentally, West End and Appalachian will both be playing Holly Pond the next time they take the field. West End will host Holly Pond at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Appalachian will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
