Baseball Game Preview: Rossview Hawks vs. Collierville Dragons

For the second straight game, Rossview will face off against Collierville. The Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rossview's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Collierville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Rossview blew Collierville out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Collierville got their revenge. The Hawks fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Hawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Collierville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Rossview, their loss dropped their record down to 32-7-1.
