Basketball Recap: Allendale-Fairfax Snaps 12-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Allendale-Fairfax can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took down Ridgeland 60-42. That looming 60-42 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Despite the loss, Ridgeland saw an underclassman step up: freshman Hakeem Chaneyfield posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jabien Harris, who had eight points.

Allendale-Fairfax's win ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-14. As for Ridgeland, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Denmark-Olar the next time they take the court. Ridgeland will host Denmark-Olar at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Allendale-Fairfax will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
