Baseball Recap: Loyalsock Township Turns Things Around After Road Loss

Loyalsock Township's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Hughesville on Monday. The Lancers put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 11-1 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lancers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Deryk Kulp spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up nine Ks. He has become a key player for Loyalsock Township: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-6 otherwise.
