Softball Recap: Wilson Hall Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wilson Hall can now relate to. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats on Tuesday. The Barons haven't had much luck with the Swampcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Wilson Hall saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Bradley, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Wilson Hall's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Laurence Manning Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

While Wilson Hall had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
