Staunton and Turner Ashby are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Storm will head out to square off against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Staunton is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

On Thursday, Staunton needed a bit of extra time to put away Fluvanna County. They skirted past the Flying Flucos 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Staunton were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Turner Ashby had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Mustangs 4-1. Turner Ashby might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by three goals or more this season.

Staunton's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 57 goals over those eight contests. As for Turner Ashby, their record is now 16-2.

Staunton was able to grind out a solid victory over Turner Ashby in their previous meeting back in March of 2022, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Storm since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
